About TheSkillVault
TheSkillVault is a free library of skills and prompts for building websites and apps with an AI assistant. A skill is a short, plain-English set of instructions (a SKILL.md file) that tells an AI how to do one job well, such as deploying a site or fixing a login bug. You can copy any skill into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI chat, install it in Claude Code or Cursor, or connect the whole library over MCP.
Licences
Skills written by TheSkillVault are licensed CC BY 4.0: use them anywhere, including commercially, as long as you credit TheSkillVault. Each skill page shows the exact attribution line to copy.
Some skills are adapted from other open-source projects. Those keep their original licence (MIT, Apache-2.0 or CC0), name the original author, link the exact source version, say what we changed, and ship the original licence text alongside the skill. We only import work whose licence allows it.
